Question 1- Could you please confirm the amount of residual oxygen this furnace to achieve? Answer 1- There is no explicit requirement for residual oxygen content for this furnace. However, the inert gas supply, shell, door seals, etc. should be designed to achieve an inert gas flow/leak rate of 1L/min to 10L/min at an operating pressure of approximately 5psi to 15 psi gauge. Note that this equipment is not a vacuum furnace. The furnace just needs to be able to supply and maintain a positive gas flow rate (quantified above). Requirements for the construction (shell, seals, etc.) are defined within the minimum specifications. Minimum specifications are listed in the solicitation. See solicitation N0016724Q0127.
