Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) intends to award a firm fixed price (FFP) purchase order using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) the Contracting Officer has determined only one brand to be reasonably available. The Government intends to solicit for: a TRAK brand DPMRX7 three axis vertical mill with tracking feature, programming capabilities and additional add-ons, as detailed in the attached solicitation. This solicitation is brand name (justification attached). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written solicitation will not be issued. Quotes are being requested under Request for Quotation (RFQ) no. N0016723Q0313. The NAICS code is 333248 and the business size standard is 750 Employees. Late quotes will not be considered. Offerors will not have an opportunity to provide additional information once the solicitation has closed. Failure to provide the requisite documentation prior to solicitation closing shall be considered as a no-bid. Packages must be FOB destination, firm fixed price (FFP) and contain the following information: a) Official Company Name; b) Point of contact including name and phone number; c) Delivery lead time; d) Cage Code number; e) Manufacturers specifications* and; f) Authorized Reseller Certification * Manufacture’s datasheet must clearly shows their proposal is equivalent to the aforementioned equipment and meets or exceeds the specifications listed below. Where the provided datasheet covers multiple models or configurations of the proposed solution, the offeror’s quote shall be annotated to indicate the specific model/configuration offered. In the event the quote is not annotated in such a way it is not readily apparent which set of specifications apply, the inferior specifications shall be assumed. In the event that a specification is not clearly and specifically addressed in the offeror’s provided documentation, the proposed solution shall be considered unacceptable Please also note the following: Any applicable freight/shipping charges are incorporated into lime items as we are not authorized to pay stand-alone shipping/freight costs.
