The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) has a requirement for Cisco, Extron, and Schneider APC materials. The compliant service is available solely from Cisco, Extron, and Schneider, as the required compatible materials are only available from these sources. The NAICS code is 541519 and the business size is $34 million. The proposed purchase order is being solicited on a brand name basis. The proposed action is for IT server equipment, for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source pursuant to FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii). The basis for restricting competition is for the following reasons: Cisco, Extron, and Schneider are the only sources of the required material, with no compatible service on the market. The NSWCCD intends to award a firm fixed-price purchase order using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The NSWCCD will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible Quoter that submits the Lowest-Priced, Technically Acceptable (LPTA) quote in response to this solicitation that represent the best value to the Government. All questions will be answered in an amendment to the solicitation. Quote packages are due no later than August 31, 2023, at 14:59 PM.
