Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A) “supplies/services may be deemed to be available only from the original source in the case of…highly specialized equipment, including major components thereof, when it is likely that award to any other source would result in a substantial duplication in cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition”. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Phillips Corporation for Haas Brand Name Chip Guard System Field Kits. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written solicitation will not be issued. Quotes are being requested under Request for Quotation (RFQ) no. N0016723Q0226. The NAICS code is 333310 and the business size standard is 1,000 emp. The provisions and clauses included and/or incorporated in this solicitation document are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular. This RFQ incorporates all provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2023-04 and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) DPN 20230720.
