The NAICS code is 541519 and the business size is $30 million. The proposed purchase order is being solicited on a brand name basis. The proposed action is for storage arrays, for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with compliant products pursuant to FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii). The basis for restricting competition is for the following reasons: Seagate equipment is the only compatible material, with no compatible product on the market. The NSWCCD intends to award a firm fixed-price purchase order using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The NSWCCD will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible Quoter that submits the Lowest-Priced, Technically Acceptable (LPTA) quote in response to this solicitation that represent the best value to the Government. All questions will be answered in an amendment to the solicitation. Quote packages are due no later than August 14, 2023, at 11:59 AM.
