The N... The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) has a requirement for Seagate and Samsung hard drives. The compliant material is available solely from Seagate and Samsung materials. The NAICS code is 541519 and the business size is $30 million. The proposed purchase order is being solicited on a brand name basis. The proposed action is for Seagate brand hard drives and Samsung brand hard drives, for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate as a small business set-aside. The basis for restricting competition is for the following reasons: Seagate and Samsung are the only source of the required items, with no compatible material on the market. The NSWCCD intends to award a firm fixed-price purchase order using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The NSWCCD will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible Quoter that submits the Lowest-Priced, Technically Acceptable (LPTA) quote in response to this solicitation that represent the best value to the Government. All questions will be answered in an amendment to the solicitation. Quote packages are due no later than April 26, 2023, at 11:59 AM.
