The contractor shall provide the materials and services needed to install a manufactured, pre-engineered/prefabricated mezzanine platform that will support secondary system associated equipment and the maintenance performed on that equipment. Upon award of contract, the contractor shall arrange for and conduct an on-site visit to the NSWCCD, West Bethesda, MD; provide finalized mezzanine drawings; transport and deliver materials per para. 2.1 below specifications; perform assembly and platform installation services per para. 2.2 below specifications; perform site clean-up; and conduct inspection walk-through with the NSWCCD TPOC and remedy identified deficiencies. The contractor shall estimate for freight and shipping costs in their submitted proposal. The government will provide all required equipment for and perform offloading of delivered materials; conduct inspection of delivered materials; obtain applicable permits and Safety and OSHA compliances and verify applicable building codes; and perform trash removal.
