This amendment is to include FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation Factors and to delete 1 (one) occurance of FAR 52.212-2 which was duplicated on the originial solicitation. The Naval Station Newport, RI, has a requirement for four (4) Oil Spill Response (OSR) Boats, associated trailers, and equipment to include Preventive Maintenance (PM) and repair of non-functioning equipment. Preventative maintenance and repairs required under resultant contract shall be performed off-site; unless, repairs are minor and can be performed on-site without interference with base operations. Naval Station Newport, RI operates a spill response team and routinely conducts simulation exercises of marine diesel spills for effective and efficient action in the event of a real-world incident. The Command requires Preventive Maintenance (PM) and repairs of non-functioning equipment of four (4) Oil Spill Response (OSR) Boats and associated trailers. Please see attached PWS and CDRLS.
