The purpose of this amendment is to include FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation Commercial Products and Commercial Services and to clarify that the solicitation is requesting the quote for 3 units now and upon request additonal units(up to sixteen (16) may need to quoted over the next five (5) years. All other terms and conditions remain the same. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation that Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) intends to issue, and is a Request for Quotes (RFQ) for the following Supplies and/or Services. This requirement is for the manufacturing and purchase of Permanent Motion Measurement Systems (PMMS) in support of RADAR CROSS SECTION (RCS) testing. Three (3) are to be purchased with the initial order with the remaining to be purchased over a 5 year period. The total anticipated will be 16 units. In accordance with FAR 52.216-18 and FAR 52.216-19, the BPA ordering period will begin at contract award date and proceed for a period of five (5) years, or until the total of all Calls (Ceiling) is reached, whichever occurs first.
