The basis for restricting competition... The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) has a requirement for a Haas brand CNC lathe. The NAICS code is 334111 and the size standard is 1250. The basis for restricting competition is for the following reasons: the Haas CNC lathe is the only type compatible with the other equipment currently in use. Please refer to attached list of specifications. The NSWCCD intends to award a firm fixed-price purchase order using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Interested parties may identify their interest to this requirement by submitting a bid to both Steven Besanko at steven.besanko@navy.mil and Gary Whitney at gary.whitney@navy.mil no later than 2:00 PM 22 January 2020. All responses received by 2:00 PM 22 January 2020 will be considered by the Government.
