The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) has a requirement for preventative maintenance and repair for the model 8800/Plus TLD Reader. These services can be provided by Thermo Fisher Scientific. The NAICS code is 811219 (20.5 million of dollars). The proposed purchase order is being solicited on a sole-source basis to Thermo Fisher Scientific. The proposed action is for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source pursuant to FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii). The NSWCCD intends to award a firm fixed-price contract to Thermo Fisher. Interested parties may identify their interest to this requirement by submitting a capabilities statement no later than 30 April 2019. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received by 4/30/2019, will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
