The Navy requires rugged, standardized radiation detection, indication, and computation (RADIAC) equipment to replace legacy survey meters, address parts obsolescence, and maintain radiological safety standards across shipboard and public shipyard activities. NSWCCD’s Radiation Detection Technology Branch Code 631, with NAVSEA 05PRD, requires production and acquisition of Radiological Detection System Base Units, Beta/Photon Probes, and common probe connector cables. Attachment 1, the Statement of Work, provides the National Stock Numbers, part numbers, and quantities for the requested equipment.
