This requirement is inclusive of, but not limited to, the design of a new fiber optic infrastructure at the West Bethesda site, the installation of the new system, and the removal of the old infrastructure through existing ductwork underground. The system will be tested to ensure operational functionality and will be designed based on the Government’s need. Specifically, the requirement will include a three-hub structure based around critical buildings at West Bethesda, including Buildings 1, 4, and 17. The estimated total dollar value is $5.4 million.
