THIS SOURCES SOUGHT is being issued by the Department of the Navy, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD). NSWCCD is seeking potential sources interested in providing quick turn, less than 48 hour notice sign language interpreting, transliterating, and sight-translation services throughout the year for day-to-day interaction with co-workers and customers, on-site trainings, scheduled meetings, and events. It is the intent of the Command to continue the practice of recruiting, hiring, and retaining qualified employees with various disabilities, including Deaf/HoH employees to meet the mission of the Little Creek Virginia Command. NSWCCD intends to issue a solicitation/synopsis in the upcoming months to meet mission requirements. Prior to issuing a solicitation/synopsis, NSWCCD is requesting information only to determine the interest in bidding on this proposed solicitation/synopsis in order to make an informed determination regarding procurement strategy. A copy of the DRAFT Statement of Work (SOW) is attached. SUBMISSION OF RESPONSES: Responses shall include a brief information regarding the appropriate set-aside category and capability statement clearly detailing ability to meet the Government's needs and satisfy minimum requirements. A cover page for the response shall be included. The cover page, at a minimum, shall include the company name, address, points of contact (name(s), e-mail address (es), and telephone number(s)), Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number, SAM UEI, Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code, and business size status for North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 541930. The cover page should also include the specified, set-aside category. NSWCCD will only accept electronic submissions sent to Lametria Smith via e-mail at lametria.r.smith.civ@us.navy.mil. All responses shall be submitted no later than 11:00 am on 2 January 2024. Submissions sent in any other format or received after the set-forth timeframe will not be considered. This is a request for information only. This request for information is not a Request for Quotations (RFQ) or announcement of a solicitation and does NOT constitute a RFQ. This notice shall not act as a contract, a promise to contract, or as a commitment of any sort by the Government. This Sources Sought request is issued solely for conducting market research in accordance with FAR Part 10 and gathering information for planning purposes. The Government WILL NOT PAY for any information received in response to this request for information, and the Government will not compensate the respondent for any cost incurred in developing the response to this Sources Sought Request.
