This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The propose purchase order is being solicited under a brand name justification. Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) anticipates awarding a firm fixed price (FFP) purchase order using Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with (IAW) the attached combined synopsis/solicitation No. N00167-22-Q-0030. The NAICS code is 541330 and the business size is $16.5 million. This request for quote (RFQ) incorporates all provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2020-06 and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) DPN 202000016. See attached solicitation for clauses and provisions. The NSWCCD will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible Quoter that submits the Lowest-Priced, Technically Acceptable (LPTA) quote in response to this solicitation that represent the best value to the Government. Questions/clarification regarding this solicitation must be submitted no later than December 27, 2021 at 11:59AM. All questions will be answered in an amendment to the solicitation. Quote packages are due by January 03, 2022 by 11:59AM. Quote packages should contain a cover sheet that provides the following information: a) Official Company Name; b) Point of Contact including name and phone number; c) Cage code/DUNS number.
