NSWC Crane requires maintenance for Meridian IV microscope components (p/n 1119015 / 7512 / F7081251) and related microscope parts. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate sole source with FEI Company of Hillsboro, Oregon, under FAR 13.106-1 because FEI holds proprietary rights to the relevant data, drawings, and schematics and has trained/licensed personnel plus certified repair/replacement parts. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement for consideration, though the Government retains discretion not to compete based on responses. Contractors must be registered in SAM, and any changes before closing will be posted to Contract Opportunities on SAM.gov.
