NSWC Crane is conducting market research to identify industry partners capable of providing comprehensive calibration services for a diverse inventory of approximately 2,700 unique TMDE types and ~7,000 total TMDE assets annually in accordance with OPNAV 3960.16 and ISO/IEC 17025. The Government is exploring consolidation of current organic, SeaPort task order, and BPA support into a single multi-year contract (e.g., base plus options), with most calibrations performed at contractor facilities but significant onsite work at NSWC Crane and various industry locations across Indiana and adjoining states. Current workload is distributed across incumbent contracts, including supported-equipment support through April 2028 and unsupported-equipment agreements through March 2031. Requirements include ISO/IEC 17025-compliant calibration across shop-code categories, logistics such as onsite pickup/delivery 2–5 times per week and TMDE inspection, engineering and administrative support, and GFP stewardship via PIEE. The Government requests capability statements covering corporate overview, contractor facility capacity, technical capability/accreditations, logistics/handling, and ability to support the listed workload.
