Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane, has a requirement for a firm fixed priced, "C" type contract, for the procurment of 43 each of Norhtrup Grumman Part Numbers: 68901000-49-TBEAR, 68901207-49-Power Supply Control Unit, 68901204-29-Cable Assebmly, Laser Transmitter, 68901270-9-Cable Assembly and Laser Diode, These parts are in support of the Multi-Spectral Trageting Systems (MTS-A and MTS-B), for US Navy Programs. Any alternative source must be compatible with the MTS System. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Governm intends to solicit and negotiate with one source, Northrup Grumman Systems Corporation, 2787 Sout Orange Blossom, Apopka, FL 32703-2010, cade code 34860, in accordance with the statutory authroty 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source. Delivery is anticipated to be twelve months after contract award and FOB is Destination/Destination, NSWC Crane 300 Highway 361, Crane IN 47522-5001. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement that may be considered by the agency. However, a determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to the synopsis is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of re-evaluating the justification for sole source or limitation of sources and making a determination to change the acquisition strategy to a competitive procurement. The solicitation and any of its amendments, for this sole source action, will not be posted to Sam.gov. It is available only from the point of contact identified below. Contractors must be properly registered in SAM.gov.
