N0016423GJW72–0001 – JOB ORDER PIID N0016423FXXXX SOLE SOURCE – This effort will be for engineering services to support aircraft integration and correction of deficiencies with software and hardware. – R425 – NAICS 334511 Issue Date: 03 October 2022 – Closing Date: 18 October 2022 – 2:00 pm Eastern Time ITEM DESCRIPTION- Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane has a requirement for engineering and logistics support associated with Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) hardware, software, and to define technical support required to enable continued development, support integration and testing activities, and establish formal sustainment efforts for the ASW SIGINT Weapon Replaceable Assemblies (WRAs) and Sub Replaceable Assemblies (SRAs) . This will be the first Job Order (JO) under to be awarded Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N0016423GJW72 with Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC). The proposed contract action is for the supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source, (Sierra Nevada Corporation, 444 Salomon Circle, Sparks, NV, 89434-9651), under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 (a). The requirement is being solicited on a sole source basis because lack of sufficient technical data and duplicative cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition and the unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency requirement through any other source. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement or proposal which shall be considered by the agency. However, a determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of re-evaluating the justification for sole source or limitation of sources and making a determination to change the acquisition strategy to a competitive procurement.
