N0016422RWP94 – Evaluation, Repair, and/or New Manufacture of SPS-49 Elevation Drive Ball Screw (Part Number 912071 REV U) – PSC J020– NAICS 333613 Issue Date: 02 February 2022 – Closing Date: 4 March 2022 – 2:00 Time Eastern ITEM DESCRIPTION- Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane has a requirement for… Evaluation, Repair, and/or New Manufacture of SPS-49 Elevation Drive Ball Screw (Part Number 912071 REV U). This procurement will include new manufacture, first article testing, evaluation, and repair/rebuild up to category IV. The anticipated contract will be for a minimum ordering quantity of 1, with an estimated maximum value of $1.3 million dollars. The solicitation will utilize full and open competition procedures after exclusion of sources, set-aside for small business concerns in accordance with (IAW) FAR 6.203 as a proposed 5-year Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The Government intends to award to the responsible contractor whose offer is the best value to the government after initial technical acceptability determinations. The basis of evaluation will be best value and factors will be technical, past performance, and price; to include some subfactors. FAR Part 12 procedures will not be utilized for this effort. The procurement will be solicited as a 100% small business set aside in accordance with the procedures at FAR Subpart 19.5 and FAR Part 15. The applicable NAICS Classification is 333613 and the small business size standard is 750. The evaluation, repair, and/or new manufacture of SPS-49 Elevation Drive Ball Screws shall meet the requirements of the NSWC Crane Division Statement of Work and NSWC Crane Division specifications. Inspection and acceptance will be FOB Destination NSWC Crane Division, Crane, Indiana 47522-5001 forty-five days (45) after date of contract. Contractors must be properly registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and the Joint Certification Program (JCP) in order to receive the controlled attachments.
