FSC: 5985 NAICS: 334220 Synopsis Issue Date: 29 March 2021 – Closing Date: 28 April 2021– 4:00 p.m. Time Eastern This synopsis is being posted to the beta.SAM.gov website located at https://beta.sam.gov/. Beta SAM is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet. Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane has a requirement for new manufacture of AS-3444/SPG-62 Waveguide Assembly kits (13 piece set) with additional CLINs for the 13 individual pieces that make up the 13 piece kit. The requirement also includes the new manufacture of PN 5204696. Although this piece is not part of the 13 piece kit, it is a component of the overall SPG-62 Antenna. This procurement will include fist article testing. The anticipated contract will be for a minimum quantity of 1 AN/SPG-62 Waveguide Kit, and 1 MK-82 Waveguide Assembly W5 (P/N 5204696) with an estimated maximum value of $5,744,908. Deliverables shall meet the requirements of the NSWC Crane Division Statement of Work and NSWC Crane Division specifications. Delivery will be FOB Destination NSWC Crane Division, Crane, Indiana 47522-5001. The Navy intends to solicit and negotiate this contract as non-commercial and as a small business set-aside IAW FAR 19.502-2. NSWC Crane intends to issue a 5-year Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The Government intends to award to the responsible contractor whose offer is the best value to the government. The basis of evaluation is estimated to be best value and factors may include but are not limited to technical, past performance, and price; to likely include some sub factors. FAR Part 12 procedures will not be utilized for this effort. The applicable NAICS Classification is 334220 and the small business size standard is 1250 employees. A draft Statement of Work is posted along with this synopsis, and interested parties are encouraged to review and provide comments or questions on the draft.
