N0016421Q0010 - SOLE SOURCE –SUPPLY – LOW NOISE AMPLIFIER PSC 1680 - NAICS 334220 ISSUE DATE 13 AUG 2021 CLOSING DATE 18 AUG 2021 - 4:00 PM Eastern Time ITEM DESCRIPTION- Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane has a requirement for the purchase of: CLIN 0001 - P/N: AMFK-2F-00240027-065-7P-BT-L, Amplifier, QTY. 10 The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, (L3 Technologies Inc. Narda-Miteq, 435 Moreland Ed, Hauppauge, NY 11788-3926 (CAGE CODE: 99899). All other offerors may submit a quote that will be reviewed by the Government. However, a determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The basis for restricting competition is “Peculiarity to Manufacturer”. L3 Technologies Inc. Narda-Miteq is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and its supplies are the only source to meet the form, fit and function of the requirement. L3 Technologies Inc. Narda-Miteq is considered the only responsible source possessing sufficient requisite knowledge, engineering expertise, and technical data to meet the requirement. This solicitation is being issued pursuant to the procedures at FAR Part 13. Synopsis exception FAR 5.202(a)(13) applies and Solicitation Number N0016421Q0010 is hereby issued as an attachment hereto.
