N0016420RWP74 – REQUEST FOR INFORMATION – Pure water service and maintenance for a LL-7000 Heat Exchanger – NAICS 238220 – PSC J046 Issue Date: 17 JUN 2020 – Closing Date: 29 JUN 2020 – Time Eastern MARKET RESEARCH – REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI): This is NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS and no contract will be awarded from this RFI. MARKET SURVEY: Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Crane, IN 47522 intends to solicit and award a single Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to provide high purity, de-ionized water service, periodic filtration, and maintenance for a LL-7000 Heat Exchanger. Responses to this Market Survey must address availability, budgetary cost estimate, and lead time of the support. All interested parties are encouraged to submit company and product literature, a white paper no longer than 5 pages, and/or other pertinent information, such as a description of support for similar systems and a statement of current capability to provide high purity, de-ionized water service, periodic filtration, and maintenance for a LL-7000 Heat Exchanger, and identify other Government contracts with similar efforts for the Government’s consideration. This RFI is for market research purposes only and does NOT constitute a Request for Proposal or Invitation for Bid (IFB). This notice shall not be construed as a contract, a promise to contract, or as a commitment of any kind by the Government. The Government is NOT seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. This RFI is issued solely for information, planning, and market research purposes in accordance with FAR Part 10. THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT INTEND TO AWARD A CONTRACT ON THE BASIS OF THIS SOURCES SOUGHT OR OTHERWISE PAY FOR THE INFORMATION SOLICITED NOR IS THIS A SOLICITATION. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
