N0016420RWP67 - SOLE SOURCE - Evaluation, Repair, Refurbishment, Upgrade, and Procurement of New AN/SPS-48 Rotary Coupler (Diamond/Premiere Brand) - PSC 5810 - NAICS 334419 Synopsis Issue Date: 13 June 2019 - Closing Date: 26 June 2019 - Time Eastern ITEM DESCRIPTION- Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane has a requirement for the Evaluation, Repair, Refurbishment, Upgrade, and Procurement of New AN/SPS-48 Rotary Coupler (Diamond/Premiere Brand). NSWC Crane intends to issue a ten (10) year Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity, non-competitive, non-commercial solicitation in the fourth (4) quarter of fiscal year 2019. The proposed contract action is for the supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source, Diamond Microwave and Antenna Corporation, 59 Porter Road, Littleton, MA 01460 under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). This is being sole sourced because only one responsible source or only a limited number of responsible sources and no other type of property will satisfy the needs of the agency without substantial duplication of cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition and unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency's requirement. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. However, a determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Contractors must be properly registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). All changes that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to the FedBizOpps website.
