Synopsis exception FAR 5.202(a) (13) applies and Award Number N00164-20-P-W015 is hereby issued as an attachment hereto. AMMENDMENT – The purpose of this amendment is to meet the posting requirements as described in FAR part 5 for actions with an estimated value of greater than $25,000.00. The estimated value of all base and options for repairs has increased due to various reasons including increased costs of replacement and extremely long lead times for new procurements. These factors have resulted in the GOVT being willing to increase the amount it will spend to repair existing units in order to maintain mission readiness. These increased values has required further compliance including synopsizing the modification to increase the in scope not to exceed repair value. SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT- The proposed contract action is for the supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source, Crane Electronics, LLC (84 HILL AVE NWFORT WALTON BEACH, FL, 32548-3858, CAGE CODE: 09062), under the authority of FAR 13.106-1. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. However, a determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division intends to enter into a Base Award, Firm Fixed Price (FFP), contract for the following ITEM DESCRIPTION - - CLIN 001: Power Supply, P/N: 70538-03,, S/N: 271034, Test, Teardown, and Evaluation with option for Repair NTE $10,000.00 - CLIN 002: Power Supply, P/N: 70538-03,, S/N: 254922, Test, Teardown, and Evaluation with option for Repair NTE $3,000.00 - CLIN 003: Power Supply, P/N: 70538-03,, S/N: 271038, Test, Teardown, and Evaluation with option for Repair NTE $3,000.00 - CLIN 004: Power Supply, P/N: 70538-03,, S/N: 228959, Test, Teardown, and Evaluation with option for Repair NTE $10,000.00 - CLIN 005: Power Supply, P/N: 70538-03,, S/N: 269344, Test, Teardown, and Evaluation with option for Repair NTE $6,000.00 - CLIN 006: Power Supply, P/N: 70538-03,, S/N: 263703, Test, Teardown, and Evaluation with option for Repair NTE $3,000.00 Inspection and Acceptance is to be at destination with deliver F.O.B.
