AMENDMENT 0001: N00164-19-R-WS43 - SOLE SOURCE - BEARINGS USED IN AN/ALQ 99 RAM AIR TURBINE PSC 3110 - NAICS 332991 Synopsis Response Date 10 APR 2019 Anticipated Solicitation Issue Date 11 APR 2019 - Anticipated Solicitation Closing Date 13 MAY 2019 - Time 2:00 PM EST The Government has a requirement for bearings used in the AN/ALQ 99 Ram Air Turbine (RAT) manufactured by Honeywell International, Inc. The procurement will be for 450 production units with 6 First Articles, P/N AAMBC541DDA7058. There will be an option quantity of 450 additional production units. There will also be 600 production units with 8 First Articles, P/N AAMBC543DDA7058. There will be an option quantity of an additional 600 production units. FOB destination. Delivery will begin 45 weeks after Government Acceptance of FAT Plan at NSWC Crane, Crane, IN 47522-5001. This effort will be Sole Sourced to RBC Aircraft Products Inc., 2788 Winsted Rd., Torrington, CT, 06790 in accordance with the authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). A competitive procurement approach would require extensive cost duplication for non-recurring engineering and product validation and an unacceptable delay in schedule to meet requirement needs. The solicitation will not be made available on Fed Biz Opps and no hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed. Responsible sources may submit inquiries or a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency by 10 APR 2019.
