ITEM DESCRIPTION- Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane has a requirement for Metal treatments on machined items. To provide adequate customer support the Government requires various machined items to receive surface treatments, including, but not limited to plating, thermal heat treating and corrosion preventative treatments. The effort supports the Navy's EA-6B, EA-18G and other DoD Platforms. A portion of this effort will be in support of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) requirements. It is anticipated this action will result in one or more a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quality (IDIQ) contracts resulting from the solicitation with a 5-year ordering period commencing upon contract award. The minimum/maximum costs of metal treatment delivery orders are anticipated to be $1,500/$15,000 respectively. This effort is 100% set aside for small business concerns in accordance with FAR Subpart 19.5 "Set Asides for Small Business" FAR 12 procedures will be utilized for this procurement. Small business concerns shall be within 250-mile radius of NSWC Crane to be eligible for award. A solicitation will be made available at FedBizOps and may be accessed at http://www.fbo.gov. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed. Responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which will be considered by the agency. All changes that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to the FedBizOpps website. For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a proposal will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award.
