N0016419RJV38-HARRIS CORPORATION RADIOS AND REPAIR FSC 5820-NAICS 334220 Issue Date: 1 MAR 2019-Closing Date: 18 MAR 2019 ITEM DESCRIPTION- Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane has a requirement for the procurement of FALCON II© RT-1649(150), FALCON II© RT-1796(117F), FALCON III© RT-1949(117G), FALCON III© AN/PRC-160(V), and FALCON III© AN/PRC-152A radios. This effort includes the procurement, technical support, and repair services of radios and associated communications equipment (i.e. amplifiers, antennas, and accessories). The estimated maximum is $ 24,900,000 and the contract minimum amount is $2,500. The anticipated timeframe for the release of the solicitation is estimated to be 29 March 2019. Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Crane, IN intends to award a sole-source contract to Harris Corporation, 1680 University Ave., Rochester, NY 14610. This effort will be conducted on a sole source basis in accordance with the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. The basis for restricting competition is FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The solicitation will be made available through FedBizOps. The Government anticipates contract award for the procurement in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2019. A related Request for Information, N0016419SNB12, was previously posted to FedBizOps. Contractors must be properly registered in the System for Award Management (SAM).
