Synopsis exception FAR 5.202(a)(13) applies and Solicitation Number N00164-19-Q-0184 is hereby issued as an attachment hereto. SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT- The proposed contract action is for the supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source, (Siemens Industries Inc, 1000 Deerfield PKWY, Buffalo Grove, IL 60089-4547 CAGE CODE: 1HLQ3), under the authority of FAR 13.106-1. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the agency. However, a determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division intends to enter into a Base Award, Firm Fixed Price (FFP), contract for the following ITEM DESCRIPTION - CLIN 0001 - 1000 HP DRIVE AND MOTOR SYSTEM PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE CLIN 0002 - Option for Preventative Maintenance CLIN 0003 - Option for Preventative Maintenance Inspection and Acceptance is to be at destination with deliver F.O.B. Destination: NSWC Crane, IN 47522-5001. Please reference delivery schedule in RFQ. The anticipated award date is Aug 30, 2019. Contractors must be properly registered in the System for Award Management (SAM).
