Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division intends to enter into a Firm Fixed Price (FFP), supply contract IAW FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Synopsis exception FAR 5.202(a)(13) applies and Solicitation Number N0016419Q0319 is hereby issued as an attachment hereto. SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source and or their distributors, Glenair, Inc, 1211 Air Way, Glendale CA 91201. All responsible offeror's may submit a quote that will be reviewed by the Government. However, a determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. CLIN 0001 - through CLIN 0014 for various equipment rack components Inspection and Acceptance is to be at destination with delivery F.O.B. Destination: Crane IN 47522-5001. Please reference delivery schedule in RFQ. The anticipated award date is 10 MAY 2019. Quoter's prior to submitting a quote carefully review ALL sections and fill in all blanks. To be eligible for award of a Government contract, Contractors must be properly registered in the Government's Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). CCR and ORCA have been recently incorporated into the Governments new point of registration, System for Awards Management (SAM). This site can be accessed at https://www.sam.gov. Re-registration may be necessary. All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to FedBizOpps. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor FedBizOpps for amendments that may be issued to this solicitation. For changes made after the closing date, only those offeror's that provide a quote will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed. Quotes must be submitted in the format specified in the solicitation.
