N00164-19-Q-0137 - NAVSEA CERTIFIED FIBER OPTIC TERMINATION AND TESTING TRAINING COURSES - FSG U006 - NAICS 611519 ISSUE DATE 09 APR 2019 - CLOSING DATE 12 APR 2019 - 10:00 AM Eastern Time Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane has a requirement for Navy shipboard fiber optic training for Navy personnel at Naval Station Rota Spain to support the AN/SLQ-32(V)6 system on forward deployed ships. The Navy personnel require the course specifically known as fiber optic termination and testing training. Trainers must be on the NAVSEA Certified Fiber Optic Trainers List (CFOTL). Training is 40 hours long. Two training weeks are to be provided. The first will be in May and the second in September 2019. NAVSEA Drawing No. 8477552 describes the Navy Shipboard Fiber Optic Training Certification Program and provides the requirements for training organizations to be certified by the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) Fiber Optics Section, the Navy's Fiber Optic Technical Direction Agent (TDA). Training organizations certified under the Navy Shipboard Fiber Optic Training Certification Program will be placed on a Certified Fiber Optic Trainer List (CFOTL). Any training organization may apply to become a part of the CFOTL. The anticipated award date is 19 April 2019. Contractors must be properly registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and the Joint Certification Program (JCP) in order to receive the controlled attachments. Offerors may obtain information on SAM registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 866-606-8220 or via https://sam.gov. Information about the JCP is located at https://public.logisticsinformationservice.dla.mil/PublicHome/jcp/default.aspx. The controlled attachment will be posted to FedBizOps at the same time the solicitation is posted. FedBizOps may be accessed at http://fbo.gov. This solicitation is being issued pursuant to the procedures at FAR Part 13. Synopsis exception FAR 5.202(a)(13) applies and Solicitation Number N00164-19-Q-0137 is hereby issued as an attachment hereto. All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to FedBizOpps. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor the FedBizOpps site for amendments that may be issued to this solicitation. For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a quote will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award.
