THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER N0016419GJV48. Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division intends to award a Job Order (JO) under sole source Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N0016419GJV48. The BOA was issued to DB Control, 1120 Auburn St, Fremont, CA 94538-7328. Acquisitions under the BOA have been and will be conducted on a sole source basis in accordance with the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The basis for restricting competition is the lack of sufficient technical data and duplicative cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition, and the unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency requirement through any other source. As a result of this JO, the overall contract ceiling for BOA N0016419GJV48 will remain unchanged. This JO is in support of Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance Aircraft (MPRA), PMA-290. The following part number will be repaired: P/N: dB-3401 and dB-3401B Request for proposal will not be made available through http://www.fbo.gov. The request for proposal will be provided to DB Control through electronic mail. The proposed non-competitive contract action is anticipated to be awarded under FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. The anticipated contract award date is 12 June 2019.
