THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO TICOM GEOMATICS, INC UNDER CONTRACT N00164-18-D-JV09. SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT - Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane intends to issue a Level-of-Effort (LOE) type Task Order (TO) under sole source Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) N00164-18-D-JV09 in support of the Dragonfly Receiver Processor Unit (RPU) and legacy RPUs for the PMA-290, Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance Aircraft (MPRA). The Government intends to procure Engineering Support Services, Calibration and Configuration Management, Obsolescence Management, and Testing Support through a Task Order placed against the IDIQ N00164-18-D-JV09 and shall be within the scope, issued within the ordering period, and be within the ceiling of that IDIQ of $6,000,000 over a five-year period. The proposed order is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source, TICOM Geomatics, Inc., 9130 Jollyville Rd, Ste. 100, Austin, TX 78759-7474 under authority of FAR 6.302-1 (statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1)), only one responsible source. The basis for restricting competition is the lack of sufficient technical data, duplicative cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition, and the unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency requirement through any other source. Request for proposal will not be made available through http://www.fbo.gov, but sent directly to TICOM Geomatics, Inc. through electronic mail. Responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. However, a determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
