Installation is required as detailed in the SOW. Additional details are provided in the attachement. The response date is 09/08/2021. Please submit questions and responses to this RFQ directly to arianna.williams@navy.mil Solicitation is amended on 09/08/2021 to extend the response date to 09/13/2021 as well as provide a final Q&A document. Q&A document "QA 09082021" is the final updated question and response document. They are also below in case there are any issues with the attachements. Questions and Responses: There are no notes on docs on press box concrete foundations The concrete foundations will be installed by others and are not part of this contract. Installation of the press box is by others and is not part of this contract. 2. Are there prevailing wages? If so, need project specific wage rates. Prevailing wages for the bleacher installation are applicable. WD # RI20210001 applies to this solicitation 3. Is there a completion date? Per the SOW, six weeks after contract award. 4. Where should I email quotes? Quotes should be emailed to Arianna Williams at Arianna.williams@navy.mil 5. There is an existing pad in place for the new bleacher. You will also need a pad for the press box and structure, which will need to be a minimum of 12" thick. I just want to be sure you know this. The requiring activity is aware of this. 3) The request notes material must be delivered 6 weeks after the award. Material shortages may push that to 8-12 weeks. When do you plan to award, and when must this be installed? The anticipated award date is before 09/24/2021. The preferred delivery is 6 weeks after. However, if there are material delays due to the pandemic and this can be documented in writing by the manufacturer, the requiring activity will accept a later installation. This is acceptable only if the 6 week deadline cannot be met due to material shortages. 4) Drawing acceptability cannot be verified prior to the response deadline. Bleachers and press box renderings should meet the dimensions in the SOW. *This solicitation cover, 1449, does not need to be filled out when submitting a response to the RFQ. Please submit a quote in response to the SOW.
