*******************THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE********************************** LOOKING FOR VENDORS WHO ARE CAPABLE OF PROVIDING SERVICES BELOW REQUEST FOR INFOMATION, SOLICITATION TO FOLLOW AT A LATER TIME United States Naval Academy, Midshipmen Food Services Division (MFSD) has a requirement for Reverse Osmosis System-Replacement. The current filters are long overdue to be replaced and are in need of a replaceing the entire system. Description of Work To Be Performed and Other Instructions; Installation of a singular Reverse Osmosis system to feed all 16 steamers and a PM6-32k DMT water softener to protect the membrane of the RO unit. Vendor Shall install the equipment in the corner past the steamers where a sink hook up is currently not in use. Vendor shall use 3/4 CPVC for the water softener. Vendor shall then mount the reverse osmosis system to the wall and run 1/2" blue poly tubing to the center manifoldbetween the 12 steamers in the main kitchen. Vendor shall run a line to each individual steamer. Vendor shall run a 300-400-foot run of 1/2" blue poly tubing down the main hall and to the auxiliary kitchen where vendor shall connect the poly line to the current four steamers. This system shall have a 120-gallon storage tank and a delivery pump to deliver the water over long distances. The storage tank shall sit on the floor next to the reverse osmosis unit and water softener. This is estimated time and material and final.
