This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, in conjunction with the policies and procedures as prescribed in FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is N0018922Q0423 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ), unless otherwise indicated herein. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-07. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334511 with a small business size standard of 1250 employees. This 100% Small Business Set-Aside will be solicited as brand name or equal; only qualified sellers may submit quotes. PLEASE SEE ATTACHED CHART THAT INCLUDES THE REQUIRED SPECIFICATIONS. This is brand name or equal and specifications must meet or exceed the specs listed in the attached chart. The United States Naval Academy requires a capable vendor who can provide an Unmanned Surface Vessel System for teaching and research endeavors. See attached Statement of Work (SOW) for additional details. The delivery date is as soon as possible. The delivery location is the United States Naval Academy (USNA). FAR provision and clauses applicable to this procurement are included as an attachment.
