The Government intends to negotiate on a sole-source basis under FAR 6.302-1 for 5 alternating current motors (NSN 7H-6105-008308048-E3), delivered to DLA Distribution Barstow, Barstow, CA. The Government does not own the data or rights needed to contract repair from additional sources, and it has determined that buying the data or reverse engineering the part is uneconomical. All responsible sources may identify their interest and capability or submit proposals, quotations, or capability statements, though this notice is not a request for competitive proposals. The Government will determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement based on responses, and FAR Part 12 commercial-item policies are not being used, though interested parties may identify commercial-item capability.
