The Government requires 400 each of NSN 1H-2090-015856238-ST, defined by TDP VER 012 and reference DURA 13 (24.5 x 30.5 x 1.3 in), delivered FOB origin. This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity; only approved sources with unique design, engineering, and manufacturing/repair knowledge are considered, as the Government lacks economically available data rights or technical data essential to quality. Alternate sources must qualify under the design control activity’s procedures approved by the cognizant Government engineering activity. Award will be made only if the offeror, product/service, or manufacturer meets the qualification requirements at time of award per FAR 52.209-1. The Government is not using FAR Part 12 commercial-item procedures for this acquisition.
