The Government requires 2,300 each of DURA 1 Tile, 24 x 24 inches, under NSN 1H-2090-015635168-ST, TDP VER 007, delivered FOB Origin. This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity to maintain quality, and the approved source(s) retain essential design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing/repair knowledge. An alternate source must qualify according to the design control activity’s procedures approved by the cognizant Government engineering activity. Award will be made only if the offeror, product/service, or manufacturer meets the qualification requirements at time of award under FAR clause 52.209-1. The Government is not using FAR Part 12 commercial-item policies for this solicitation, though interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the requirement with a commercial item.
