This pre-solicitation is for two (2) each of NSN 7H-4820-015443394, Valve Assembly, MANI, under TDP VER 003, with delivery FOB Origin; the solicitation is forthcoming. The Government does not own the data or rights needed to purchase or contract repair from additional sources, and it has determined that buying the data/rights or reverse engineering the part is uneconomical. The proposed action is intended to be solicited and negotiated with only one source under FAR 6.302-1, and this notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Responsible sources may identify their interest and capability to respond or submit proposals, quotations, or capability statements, and interested parties may identify commercial-item capability to the contracting officer. Based on market research, FAR Part 12 commercial-item acquisition policies are not being used.
