The Navy requires manufacture of a Lubrication Distribution Valve Assembly under NAVSEA drawing 6985455, part number 642925-A1 and the Engineering Referral, for a critical shipboard system designated Level I/SUBSAFE/DSS-SOC/TRIPER special emphasis material. This total small business set-aside procurement is under Emergency Acquisition Flexibilities, will be a DPAS-rated bilateral award, and involves a quantity of 60 units with a one-year warranty from delivery. Key technical requirements include hydrostatic testing of each assembly with no leakage, NDT of weld repairs/production welds, material certification for the valve body (QQ-N-281 Class A Form 1) and needle valve (ASTM-B150 Alloy C63200 Temper TQ50 or TQ55), traceability, and an ISO 9001 or MIL-I-45208 quality system. Welding/brazing procedures and personnel must be qualified and approved before work, Government quality assurance will be performed at source, and waivers/deviations require Contracting Officer approval. FOB is destination, inspection/acceptance points are TBD, and the contractor must comply with marking, CID 887365106, configuration control, and mercury-free requirements.
