NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support Mechanicsburg seeks eligible contractors to provide labor, material, and facilities to manufacture NSN 1377-01-269-6496, MT06 Cartridge Actuated Initiator per source control drawing 6260964 for the AH-64 egress system. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with two approved sources under FAR 6.302-1 and does not possess or cannot provide the data necessary to manufacture the item. All responsible sources may identify their interest and provide capability statements; this notice is not a request for competitive proposals. The Government will consider responses in deciding whether to compete the proposed contract, and source approval may be required without delaying award while Source Approval is pending.
