This is a firm-price RFQ for a buy of the DISK DRIVE UNIT, including manufacture and contract quality requirements. The item must match the specified CAGE/reference numbers, be marked per MIL-STD-129, packaged per MIL-STD-2073, and be free of metallic mercury for submarine/surface ship use; an ISO 9001 quality system is required. Government source inspection is required, freight is FOB Origin, and CASREP accelerated delivery is encouraged at no additional cost under Emergency Acquisition Authority. Offerors that are not the OEM must provide an OEM letter or official email confirming authorized distributor status, and award consideration is limited to authorized distributors of the original manufacturer’s item. If the item has not been previously purchased by NAVSUP WSS or pricing has increased, the contractor must provide similar/previous NSNs, prior invoice evidence, and the basis for pricing.
