The Navy requires manufacture of a PLATE,MOUNTING assembly per NAVSEA drawing 497A73200 and related drawings/specifications, with process qualification required for several bonding, vulcanization, damping-tile, and gap-filling processes before production acceptance. The contractor must maintain an ISO 9001 quality system and perform first article testing, including tensile testing of bonded structure to at least 6,000 lbs and cured hardness verification, plus production-lot hardness testing. The item must be mercury-free, configuration-controlled under MIL-STD-973, and packaged/marked per applicable MIL-STD requirements. Award will be made on the lowest aggregate total price for the total quantity, inclusive of an option the Government may exercise within 365 days after award to add additional quantity up to the cited percentage; offerors are requested to price the option. The award will be issued bilaterally requiring contractor written acceptance, and the contract will be DO-rated under DPAS for national defense.
