The Navy requires manufacture of a PLATE,MOUNTING assembly under Emergency Acquisition Flexibilities, conforming to NAVSEA drawing 497A73300 (CAGE 53711) and related drawing/military-specification requirements, including process qualification, first-article inspection with tensile testing to a 6,000 lb minimum plus hardness verification, production lot hardness testing, ISO 9001 quality system, MIL-STD-2073 packaging, and mercury-free material requirements. Award will be bilateral and DPAS-rated DO/DX, requiring contractor written acceptance. Pricing must include an option for additional quantity exercisable up to 365 days after award, and award will be based on the lowest aggregate total price for the total quantity including the option. First-article report approval is required before production, a one-year warranty from delivery applies, and inspection records must be retained four years after final delivery. Configuration/change correspondence is directed to NAVICP-MECH in Mechanicsburg, PA, with first-article report approval by NUWC Newport.
