COOLER,FLUID,INDUST
The Navy requires repair of COOLER,FLUID,INDUST items (CAGE/ref 57487 or 1ZK21, 2264001) under Emergency Acquisition Flexibilities, with a bilaterally issued award requiring the contractor’s written acceptance and a DPAS “DO” rating. Non-OEM offerors must identify the OEM by company name and CAGE and provide a signed OEM letter authorizing distributor status; any separate packaging facility must also be identified. After receipt of carcasses, the contractor has 90 days to complete teardown and evaluation and provide a firm-fixed-price quote for full repair, including all receipt/repair costs and data such as TD&E rate, repair turnaround time, throughput constraint, induction expiration, and new-item cost for evaluation. The resulting contract will require final Government inspection/acceptance within a requested 75-day repair turnaround time, with price reductions for missed RTAT (amount to be specified), plus a 365-day option to add quantity after award. Repair must follow contractor repair/overhaul standards and specified military marking, packaging, mercury-free, quality, and documentation requirements, and the item carries a one-year warranty from delivery.
