The Navy requires repair of CABLE ASSEMBLY SPEC under a firm-fixed-price effort with Government final inspection/acceptance, MIL-STD-130 marking, and MIL-STD-2073 packaging. After receipt of carcasses, the contractor must complete teardown and evaluation within 90 days and submit a firm-fixed-price quote for the full repair. Quotes must include new-item cost, any exceptions, proposed repair turnaround time, and capacity constraints, and the contract may impose price reductions for failure to meet the required RTAT. Award will be bilateral under Emergency Acquisition Flexibilities and DO-rated for national defense under DPAS, and authorized distributor status may be required. Inspection records must be retained for 365 days after final delivery.
