The Navy seeks repair of a VALVE,GLOBE under a firm-fixed-price RFQ; repair must meet the original manufacturer CAGE/reference and drawings, with Government Source Inspection required and freight FOB Origin handled by Navy CAV or proxy CAV. Required Repair Turnaround Time is 180 days, accelerated delivery is encouraged, and the Government may add an option quantity at the same unit price within the FAR 52.217-6 option period (365 days). Contractors must quote unit/total price, RTAT or capacity constraints, a per-unit/per-month price-reduction amount for late RTAT up to a stated maximum, and an NTE T&E fee if an asset is beyond repair. Quotes should identify awardee, inspection/acceptance, and facility/subcontractor CAGEs and compare repair price to new-unit price and lead time; inspection records must be retained 365 calendar days after final delivery. Award is limited to authorized distributors of the original manufacturer’s item with proof on company letterhead, and packaging/marking must follow MIL-STD 2073 and MIL-STD-130.
