This is a total small business set-aside procurement for self-locking hex nuts (MS17828-6C) manufactured to AIA/NAS NASM 17828 from QQ-N-281 Class B cold-drawn material only, for a critical shipboard system designated Special Emphasis/DSSP Scope of Certification material. Offerors must maintain an ISO 9001 quality system with ISO 10012 or ANSI/NCSL Z540.3/ISO 17025 calibration, or an acceptable MIL-I-45208/MIL-STD-45662 alternate, and provide traceability, inspection records, and a Special Emphasis certificate of compliance. Government quality assurance is performed at source, and the place of performance may not be changed without Procurement Contracting Officer authorization. The proposed schedule requires certification data 20 days before delivery, PNSY review/acceptance 18 working days after receipt, and final material delivery at 210 days.
