This is a Navy procurement for socket head cap screws made to Vacco drawing S1E10063, item 23, from SAE-AMS-5643 Condition H-1025 material, designated Special Emphasis/Level I material for a crucial shipboard system. The contractor must provide extensive quality assurance, material certification, traceability, liquid penetrant and wedge tensile testing, thread inspection, ISO 9001 or MIL-I-45208 quality-system compliance, and Government source inspection/quality assurance. Final delivery is required on or before 365 days after the effective date of the resulting contract; certification data CDRLs are due 20 days before scheduled delivery, and Portsmouth Naval Shipyard review/acceptance is 6 working days after receipt. The award will be a DX-rated order under DPAS and is issued under Emergency Acquisition Flexibilities; packaging QUP, unit container, and intermediate packaging requirements are waived, but shipping containers require MIL-STD-129 labeling, bulk packaging with dunnage, and thread protectors on externally threaded material.
